FIG. 1
MOUNTING HOLE
2. Mark the location of the mounting holes and drill through the workbench.
3. Install the appropriate length and diameter bolts (not included) into the swivel base of the vise.
Manufacturer recommends that the bolt should extend about 1" below the underside of the workbench.
Use a flat washer, locking washer and locking nut onto each bolt. Securely tighten. Periodically check
and re-tighten the nuts.
OPERATION
WARNING:
Ensure that the vise is securely mounted and that the swivel base lockdowns are secure.
1. Turn vise handle counter-clockwise to open the jaws.
2. Place the work piece between the jaws.
3. Turn vise handle clockwise to close the jaws until the item is secure. Make sure you cannot move the
clamped item, being careful not to over-tighten as you may damage the work piece or the vise.
4. When the work is complete, turn vise handle counter-clockwise to release the work piece.
SWIVEL BASE
1. After the work piece is secure, loosen the swivel lockdowns on either side of the vise. Loosen only
enough to be able to rotate the base on the swivel plate, do not remove completely.
2. Swivel the vise until desired position is reached.
3. Tighten lockdowns to clamp the vise to the base.
HANDLE ASSEMBLY
1. Unscrew cap from one side of handle.
2. Insert handle through the spindle cap on the front of the vise.
