Adjust the length of the wheel bars so that they are 4” taller than your dog. - Page 8 2. Insert the wheel bars into the frame and adjust the frame height to 1” lower than the top of your dog’s hindquarters. 3. Adjust the width of the wheelchair for your dog if needed. To adjust the width of the frame, turn the knob screws at the back of the frame so that they are equally distant from each other with ref- erence to the center.
- Page 9 4. The design of the new Pro Rear DWC allows you to make import- ant adjustments to the position of the rear Harness in relation to the Rear Wheels. These three options are intended to ensure a proper weight distribution balance depending on the physical condition of your dog.
- Page 10 The third option is to remove the Rear Harness Loops from the exist- ing adapter and attach them to the Rear Wheel adapters. You can remove the Rear Harness loops by loosening the set screws located on the top and bottom of the Rear Harness adapters. And then install them directly in the dedicated holes of the Rear Wheel Adapters.

Now the Pro Rear DWC is ready for your furry friend. WHEELCHAIR USE If your pet’s hind legs are completely non-weight bearing and will need the use of the leg straps, the forelegs will require some condi- tioning time. Please allow about two weeks for full strengthening of the forelegs before using the pet wheelchair for prolonged periods. -
