3 Operation Instructions ヒートランプ HEAT lamp Display 表示窓 When iron is plugged in, HEAT lamp lights and iron heats up (default setting is 350°C). HEAT lamp fl ashes when near set temperatures. Temperature may be set from 200°C to 500°C You can choose the Safety mode.
3-2 Calibration Generally speaking, when measuring the tip temperature of the PX-280 with a tip thermometer, the measured temperature will usually be lower than the temperature displayed on the PX-280 . This could be because once the tip thermometer comes into contact with the PX-280 soldering tip, the metallic parts in the thermometer conduct heat away from the PX-280 tip.
3-3 Setting the Sleep Function When your iron is not used during Sleep Function the preset time, it automatically Sleep Starts スリープ開始 lowers tip temperature and goes 設定温度 Set temperature to Sleep. This reduces power consumption and extends soldering 作 業 Operation tip life.

3-7 Setting Key Lock The Key Lock function locks the temperature and other settings. Temperature and other settings cannot be changed by unauthorized personnel. To release the Key Lock, enter the correct Code Number or restore all settings (see P16 “Resetting the Code Number”). The code number is not set before shipping.
