INSECT TRAP
The UV light naturally attracts all insects and electrocutes
them efficiently. The bug zapper can be used throughout
the year.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. When using the insect trap do not touch the electrified
metal grid with your fingers. Do not let children play with
the device.
2. Do not touch the metal grid with a conductive object,
even if the device is switched off, as the device has some
residual charge even after it has been switched off. Cut the
circuit and discharge the voltage using an insulating rod.
3. Users may not personally service the parts of the bug
zapper. The device must be taken into an authorised ser-
vice station or other similarly qualified service centre.
4. Do not let the power cord twist around or bend around
the device or cover it.
5. A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service representative or other quali-
fied person to prevent danger.
6. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concern-
ing use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appli-
ance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
7. This device is designed for indoor use only. It is not suit-
able for outdoor use.
8. The device must not be used in cowsheds, stables or
other similar places.
9. The device must be kept out of the reach of children.
10. The symbol on the marking label means that the
operating voltage of the metal grid of the device is high in
use and may cause a risk of an electric shock.
INSTRUCTIONS
Read the instruction manual carefully before using the
device. This efficient and stylish lamp is safe and energy-ef-
ficient. The device removes insects from indoors in the day
and night.

SPECIAL PROPERTIES
1. No sprays, no odour, no toxins, no smoke, no stains.
2. The device electrocutes insects such as mosquitoes and
black flies using high voltage flowing through the electri-
fied metal grid. The insects are killed by a shock of static
electricity.
3. The circuitry is designed to use a minimal amount of
electric current and energy while being as efficient as pos-
sible.
4. The model features 4 LED lights with a lifespan of
approximately 30,000 hours.
APPLICATIONS AND CORRECT USE
1. The device can be used in bedrooms, living rooms,
restaurants, hotels and offices.
2. If you do not decrease the lighting power, the device kills
insects within the aforementioned coverage area.
3. For maximum effectiveness, use the bug zapper in
rooms with as dim lighting as possible and do not use
other strong light sources at the same time.
4. The lamp kills insects most efficiently when it is placed in
front of a door or a window or in another suitable location.
5. To save energy, consider switching the device off during
the day or when there is no one in the room.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. When using the lamp, make sure that the window frames
are tight.
2. The device must not be used in locations where there is
a risk of flammable fumes from explosive dust.
3. When not using the device, keep it in a safe and dry
place. Keep out of the reach of children.
CLEANING
WARNING!
Unplug the power cord before cleaning the device.
1) Remove the dead insects from the metal grid with the
help of a small brush included in the package. The insects
will then be collected in the bottom cup.
2) To empty the bottom cup, place the insect trap above a
rubbish bin.
3) Do not turn the device upside down!
4) Open the screw on the bottom of the lamp using a
crosshead screwdriver. Turn the bottom of the device
and carefully remove it. This will make the contents of the
device drop into the rubbish bin.
5) Re-insert the bottom of the device, turn it to lock it and
then tighten the screw.
WARNING!
Never wash the device under running water.
Clean the surface of the device with a soft cloth moistened
in lukewarm water. Do not use strong detergents or sol-
vents, as they may damage the surface of the device.

APPROPRIATE DISPOSAL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

The product must not be disposed of as unsorted house-
hold waste at the end of its lifespan. It must be taken to a
municipal collection point responsible for collecting spe-
cial waste or other waste management facility. Separately
disposing of household appliances prevents possible nega-
tive effects on health and the environment caused by inap-
propriate disposal. Furthermore, important materials can
be salvaged from the products, which saves a consider-
able amount of energy and raw materials. The product fea-
tures an image of a crossed-out wheeled rubbish bin as a
reminder to dispose of household appliances separately.
