holes and countersinks for the screws. This may,
however, be advisable when screwing into hardwoods
or into materials susceptible to cracking.
To change the direction of rotation, press the
forward/reverse switch. FWD for right hand
rotation and REV for left hand rotation. DO NOT
change direction until the motor has completely
stopped.
The long handled version can be used for driving
screws into floors and ceilings while standing.

Never push the tool beyond its design limits. If it
will not do what you want with reasonable ease, assume
you have the wrong tool for the job.
Keep the equipment clean. You will find this less of a
chore if you clean up regularly rather than wait until the
end of the hire period.
Handle the equipment with care. Avoid dropping it,
knocking it, or otherwise exposing it to damage.
Don't force the tool – It will do the job better and safer
at the rate for which it was designed.
When not in use, store the equipment somewhere
clean, dry and safe from thieves.
Before returning the autofeed screwdriver to your
local HSS Hire Shop, remove the screw strip from
the screw guide and wipe over with a clean
damp cloth.
