Reticle Eyepiece: use the diopter wheel (L) to bring the reticle into focus. EYE RELIEF ADJUSTMENT The eyecup on your Maven spotting scope zoom eyepiece twists up so that any viewer can see the full field-of-view, with or without eyeglasses. For best viewing with eyeglasses, twist the eyecup (B) all the way in (clockwise) until it stops.
MOUNTING TO A TRIPOD Mount your scope to a tripod or a vehicle window mount for stable viewing. This optic comes with an integrated Arca-Swiss tripod adapter mount and a standard ¼” x 20 thread. If your tripod is Arca compatible, simply attach the scope directly to the tripod head;...

AIMING To assist in locating your target object, use the aim assist groove/nock located on the objective lens shade. 1. Adjust the magnification wheel to its lowest setting. 2. Align the aim assist groove/nock toward your target. FOCUSING 1. If using a zoom eyepiece, set the magnification to the desired power.

REMOVABLE EYEPIECE This optic is designed with a removable eyepiece. You may need to remove this in order to clean the optic properly. To remove: 1. Turn the eyepiece lock ring counter-clockwise to unlock. 2. Rotate the eyepiece counter-clockwise until it stops. 3.

EYEPIECES This spotting scope is fitted with an eyepiece lock ring (D) and allows the use of different eyepieces. A zoom eyepiece (A) allows the user to increase or decrease magnification and is great for spotting wildlife or observing nature. A reticle eyepiece (K) is helpful when spotting for shooting applications.
