SafanDarley supplies the press brake with the E-Control installed. Upon delivery of the press brake, the E-Control contains an empty database. There are good reasons for starting with an empty database, as each press brake has its own properties while bending sheet material.

A difference between programmed tools and the tools in the press brake might result in damaged tools This manual assumes that the operator is familiar with the basic E-Control operations. You must be logged in as Product Engineer to be able to access this function.

SafanDarley E-Control E-Control will ask if you wish to apply this correction to all bends with the same length, angle and rolling direction (“YES” or “NO”). Press (also when the angle coincidentally corresponds to the desired angle). Answer “YES” if your product has a straightforward angle under common conditions.
When a database item has been set up with AUTOCLAMP OFF, E-Control will calculate with the clamping point of the test bend that was saved in the database. When programming a new project, it is now possible to select this set of values by pressing one button and using it in the new project.

Auto off When a database item has been set up with AUTOCLAMP OFF, E-Control will calculate with the clamping point of the test bend that was saved in the database. When a database item has been set up with AUTOCLAMP ON, E-Control will always calculate with the clamping point of the control.
