ASTON MARTIN ACCESSORIES 1. Ensure new Config file has been ordered with parts kit. If not, please order via AM Parts. GPS Antenna cable 2. Locate the Garmin nav unit and using the image in appendix 1, label the GPS antenna cable (figure 1). - Page 5 ASTON MARTIN ACCESSORIES 6. Remove currently installed centre console USB module (Part # GD33-19C166-AB twin port module / Part # CD3319C166-AE single port module). Workshop manual 15.01.FG applies. 7. Install Apple CarPlay™ enabled USB Module (Part # HD33-19C166-AA). 8. Identify which USB connector at the ICU end of the harness links to the console USB module.
- Page 6 ASTON MARTIN ACCESSORIES 9. The poka-yoke face of the connector for the “console USB” cable that fits to the ICU needs modifying to enable fitment to 17MY units. 10. Using a scalpel or similar, and taking appropriate care for safety and risk, remove the lower tab (a), and create a slot at (b).

- Page 8 ASTON MARTIN ACCESSORIES 14. Taking the cable labelled “DAB”, fit the supplied green Fakra connector (part # 707307 shown in figure 7) and secure by engaging the magenta clip. 15. Fit the cable labelled “FM” into the keywayed port of the white connector. The un-keywayed port is to remain empty (See figure 8).
- Page 9 ASTON MARTIN ACCESSORIES 17. With the 17MY ICU in position, plug the previously labelled cable “console USB” into port C7. The colour of the connectors on the cable and ICU will not match. 18. Take the previously labelled cable “FM” and plug into port C11B (white connector to white port).
- Page 10 ASTON MARTIN ACCESSORIES 23. Re-install the ICU in accordance with the workshop manual. 24. Re-flash the ICU with the latest software (available from AM Parts) by copying the software file onto a blank USB stick and plugging into the USB module, then turning the ignition on to stage 1.
