    Panel descriptions Panel descriptions This section explains the names of the components of the GO:PODCAST and how each one works. Name Explanation STATE Shows the app status when the GO:PODCAST is connected to the GO:PODCAST app. indicator Unlit The GO:PODCAST app is not connected.
  • Page 4 Panel descriptions Name Explanation All directions. The mic receives audio from all directions, including the rear. Omnidirectional The mic receives audio in stereo. Audio received by the left-right mic channels is recorded in stereo, and is output Stereo to your smartphone or computer. The mic receives audio in stereo with the left-right channels inverted.

    Change the direction of the GO:PODCAST while supporting the stand. When the directivity is set to “Cardioid (single direction)”, the front of the GO:PODCAST (the side with the knobs) should be facing the sound source. (Don’t point the top part of the mic at the sound source.)
  • Page 6 Adjusting the direction of the GO:PODCAST When you swivel the mic, be careful not to get your fingers pinched between the GO:PODCAST and the stand. If small children are present, make sure that an adult provides supervision and guidance. For details on the directivity settings, see Panel descriptions(P.3), “Directivity indicators”.

    Note that the battery may not recharge, or it may discharge even when you are supplying power to (or charging) a USB Type-C ® port- equipped device, depending on the USB AC adaptor’s capabilities or how you are using the GO:PODCAST app. ● Visit the website below for the latest information on compatibility.
  • Page 8 Connecting your devices Launch the GO:PODCAST app. Once the GO:PODCAST is correctly connected to your device equipped with a USB Type-C port, the “STATE” indicator on the ® GO:PODCAST lights up blue. Turning the power off Before turning the unit off, always be sure to turn the volume down. Even with the volume turned down, you might hear some sound when switching the unit on/off.

    GO:PODCAST via an Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, as shown in the illustration. Launch the GO:PODCAST app. Once the GO:PODCAST is correctly connected to your device equipped with a Lightning connector, the “STATE” indicator on the GO:PODCAST lights up blue. Turning the power off Before turning the unit off, always be sure to turn the volume down.

    When you connect the GO:PODCAST to a computer via USB cable, you can use the GO:PODCAST as a USB mic. This lets you use the mic audio recorded by the GO:PODCAST during a Web conference, or listen to the audio from your computer through the PHONES jack on the GO:PODCAST.
