The AliTrack Scanner is used as a tool to facilitate the uploading of radiation protection garments into the
AliTrack System utilizing the RFID card embedded in each garment.

AliTrack RFID Scanner
1. Remove the device from the packaging. Press the red trigger
button (1) on the scanner to turn it on.
2. For charging, remove the USB cable from the packaging and
plug it into a computer or USB accepting charging unit. Connect
the other end to the scanner to begin charging. Disconnect the
scanner from the charger aft er charging is complete.
3. Press the black button (2) on the left side of the scanner. This
button is used to switch the scanner between QR mode and RFID
mode. QR mode emits a red scanning light when the trigger is
pushed. For RFID mode, set accordingly (see Scanner Settings
Booklet for more information).
4. Open "Settings" on the device that will be used to connect to the scanner.
5. Navigate to "Bluetooth" settings.
6. The AliTrack Scanner will be discoverable as "BARCODE SCANNER". Select this device to pair. The
scanner will beep once paired.
7. Device connection can be verified through opening a Notepad document, or other text receiving
document, and using the RFID scanner on an AliMed Radiation Protection Garment. The output on the
document should be identical to the AliTrack card number.
8. Open an Internet browser and navigate to Alimed.com/alitrack to log in to your AliTrack account.
Alternatively, log into your account by using the QR setting on the scanner and scanning the QR
code on your AliMed Radiation Protection garment, which will bring you to the login page.
9. Navigate to the left column of your AliTrack account page. Click "Inspections".
10. Follow the prompt on the screen. Group all garments together, hold down the trigger of the scanner,
and wave the scanner across the group of garments. Do this multiple times to ensure all garments are
recorded. Duplicate scans will be removed by the program.
Note: The RFID scanner can detect garments placed in lockers. Hold the scanner near the locker and
pull the trigger to record garments inside. This works with most lockers, but it is recommended to test
with your facility to ensure functionality.
