    Power supply The microphone is powered by 12-18V DC power through the TA4 connector on the front of the processor box (Pin 1 = ground, pin 4 = positive). An external USB Type-C to TA4F is provided which can be used to power Konos from a USB PD 3.0 compatible source such as a power-bank or a wall supply.

  • Page 7 How Konos works Konos uses an array of MEMS microphones with intelligent processing to filter out off-axis noise efficiently and maintain excellent directivity in long ranges. We provide options of directivity at 60°, 100° and 180°. The following polar plots show tight pick-up at these angles.

    Safety and maintenance • Caution: Do not plug the ethernet cable from the processor box’s ethernet port into any other device other than the microphone. This port is meant only to connect the microphone to the processor box. Connecting the processor box to any other device may damage both devices.
