Connecting a Power Amplifier with XLR Inputs You can connect the decoder to a multichannel power amplifier with balanced XLR input jacks by using several XLR audio cables. AM-C702 External Amplifier Connecting Powered Subwoofers Using a suitable cable, connect the decoder’s SUB1, SUB2 to an input on your powered sub-woofer, as shown. If your subwoofer is unpowered and you’re using an external amplifier, connect the SUB1, SUB2 to an input on the amp.
