- Page 11 Connecting a Power Amplifier with XLR Inputs You can connect the decoder to a multichannel power amplifier with balanced XLR input jacks by using several XLR audio cables. AM-C702 External Amplifier Connecting Powered Subwoofers Using a suitable cable, connect the decoder’s SUB1, SUB2 to an input on your powered sub-woofer, as shown. If your subwoofer is unpowered and you’re using an external amplifier, connect the SUB1, SUB2 to an input on the amp.

BASIC OPERATION Before you begin, make certain that the AC power cord supplied with this unit is firmly inserted into the socket on the unit’s rear panel, then plug the power cord into an AC wall outlet or surge protection device.
