Setting up the appliance
This quick start guide contains basic instructions to get you started. For the full
picture, please refer to the supplied manual with comprehensive assembly, usage
and safety advice.
CAUTION: Do not plug the unit into the power supply until it is fully
assembled!
A brief assembly sequence is listed below. You will find more comprehensive
instructions and illustrations on pages 10–13 in the manual.
Take the main unit out of the box and place it on a flat surface. Insert the aluminium

poles into the slots, with the locks facing outwards.
Open the locks on the poles, and extend the poles to their maximum height.

Re-fasten the locks.
Insert the iron rest onto the telescopic poles. Adjust it to a comfortable height and

re-fasten the locks.

Attach the connecting tube to the iron and main unit.
5 You can now attach the iron/steamer to the iron rest.
Take the ironing board out of the box. Open the rotary lock and turn the hanger 90°,

then tighten the rotary lock. Insert the support bar into the top of the aluminium rod
at both ends of the ironing board. Pull down on the fixed slot lock to attach.
After transferring the ironing board, press the fixed slot lock upwards to attach it

to the ironing board
Invert the water tank and unscrew the cap. Fill it with fresh, clean water, before replacing
the cap Place the tank back into the appliance.

NOTE: Always add cold water to the water tank, hot water will damage the tank and the inside of the
appliance.

Dry Ironing and Steaming
You can use your new appliance for steaming garments in vertical (hanging)
position as well as for ironing them on the integrated ironing board.
For all these different usage methods (explained overleaf), please follow the

then simply use the iron on the desired garment as you would a regular iron.
For steaming/steam ironing, first turn the steam control dial to either I (low), II
(medium), or III (high). Wait until the temperature indicator light has turned off,
then press the steam switch to generate steam. You can press and hold this
button for continuous steam, or press and release for a burst of steam.
