GV-Keyboard GV-Keyboard System Connections Connecting GV-Keyboard to One GV-System Rear Panel Overview There are four ways to connect the keyboard and one GV-System, using: USB Port, RS-232 Port (DC power required), Terminal Block (DC power required), or TERM RJ-11 Port (DC power required)
Connects to PC's USB Driver Power Supply RS-485+ If you are using the USB port to connect the keyboard and GV-System, it's RS-485- RS-485 Cable necessary to install the USB driver. These instructions are for Windows XP. to RJ-11 Port * Installation under Windows 2000 is similar, but not necessarily identical.
Note: Remember the COM port showing in the Prolific USB-to Serial Bridge entry. It indicates the port number that the keyboard is using. GV-Keyboard Application To run the GV-Keyboard application, follow these steps: Execute mcamctrl.exe from the GV-System folder. Click Next to display this warning window, and then click Continue Anyway.
