The Sertus Pod Max is a single-shaft smoke extraction system designed to integrate with either the Sertus Multi-Zone System or a third-party fire system. When a fan start signal is received from the fire panel the system will run the smoke extraction fans accordingly by means of a duty and standby Inverter motor drive.
The measured Battery voltage is displayed at the bottom of the System Idle Screen. The displayed example represents 23.25V DC. The set running speed for the system can be checked by pressing the ‘down’ cursor key of the Sertus PLC. The PLC DISPLAY will show the following; Setback 00000Hz Speed 1 00000Hz...
On receiving a Fan Start input from either the Sertus Multi-Zone System or a third-party fire system the Sertus Pod will initiate in MOE mode and run the Duty Fan at the speed set in DR51. This operation can be initiated when the Sertus Pod is idle or running in MOE mode. On receiving an Off input from either the Sertus Multi-Zone System or a third-party fire system the Sertus Pod will stop the Duty Fan. This mode CANNOT be overridden.

This operation is only active when the Sertus Pod is running in MOE mode. On receiving a Pressure Switch input from either the Sertus Multi-Zone System or a third-party fire system the Sertus Pod will run in Pressure Switch mode and run the Duty Fan at the speed set in DR50.
