1. DESCRIPTION OF THE SKYLINE HARNESSES, SLINGS AND LANYARDS 1.1 APPLICATIONS: Skyline harnesses, slings and lanyards are to be used as personal equipment for Skyline zip line amusement rides only. 1.2 STANDARDS: Refer to local, provincial/state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the installation and use of this type of equipment.

2.7 RESCUE: Should a rescue be required, the user/supervisor/employer must have a rescue plan and the means at hand to implement it. 2.8 TRAINING: Skyline harnesses, slings and lanyards must only be installed and used by persons trained in their correct application and use (see Section 4).
Skyline must determine the compatible connectors that should be used with their equipment. Carabiners used to connect the Skyline 2-point harnesses to the Skyline slings should meet these specifications: Minimum break strength of 2200 kg (4850 lb) Shape must be designed to attach on 45mm (1.75”) wide webbing on one side (harness) and 25mm (1”)
4. DONNING AND FITTING 4.1 PROCEDURE FOR DONNING AND FITTING THE SKYLINE 2-POINT HARNESS: 4.1.1 Detach the 2 front quick-connect buckles and loosen the shoulder straps by pulling on the red pull-tabs. 4.1.2 Slip legs in leg loops, and put on both shoulder straps.

4.2 PROCEDURE FOR DONNING AND FITTING THE SKYLINE 1-POINT HARNESS: 4.2.1 Loosen the shoulder straps and side straps by pulling on the red pull-tabs. 4.2.2 Slip legs in leg loops, and put on both shoulder straps. 4.2.3 Adjust the shoulder straps by pulling on the free end of the webbing by the green pull-tabs, away from the buckle.

4.4 PROCEDURE FOR INSTALLING THE SKYLINE SLINGS: 4.4.1 Thread the sling end that has the half-twist in the Skyline spreader bar dedicated holes. 4.4.2 Thread the other end of the sling through the half-twist end and pull tight.
The Skyline harnesses, slings and lanyards must be inspected before each use. 6.1.2 The Skyline harnesses, slings and lanyards must be inspected by a competent person, other than the user, at least once a year (or more frequently if deemed necessary by the frequency or conditions of use).
A product that was not formally inspected at least once per year should be removed from service and replaced, unless stated otherwise by Skyline after a thorough inspection. Service life begins when the product is used for the first time. Log book must be updated with date of first use.
9. INCIDENT/FAILURE REPORTING In the unfortunate situation that a Skyline harness, sling or lanyard is involved in an incident or a failure, please notify Skyline immediately so that prompt corrective measures can be taken. Complete information concerning the incident (date, location, details as to event and consequence, etc) must be communicated to admin@skylineziplines.ca...
- Product has received forces resulting from a fall or shock loading without a subsequent inspection. - Product has undergone modifications or alterations outside Skyline production units. - Product has been in contact with detrimental chemical products or intensive source of heat.
