A precision instrument for the estimation of
the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature heat stress
index according to ISO 7243. The WBGT -in-
dex is based on measurement of air tem-
perature, wet bulb temperature and globe
temperature. The 1219 also calculates the
overall mean and "maximum 1 h mean" val-
ues of the WBGT -index. Up to three WBGT
Transducers can be connected simulta-
neously. In addition to these measurement
capabilities, the Type 1219 can store up to
60 measurements of each parameter in a
non-volatile memory. The measurement pe-
riod can be set from 1 to 8 hours. Results
can be presented digitally on the liquid
crystal display, or graphically via a level re-
corder or X - Y recorder.
