    Always switch off the unit and remove the main cable before opening the casing. The unit can only be opened by service personnel authorised by Genano Ltd. If you are uncertain about any technical detail while performing maintenance, contact an authorised service representative.

    If the device is used e.g. in a patient room where highest-level air purity is crucial to the patients, it may be necessary to bring another Genano air purifier to the room while the unit is being serviced.

    GENANO 5250 SERVICE Switch Off the Unit and Open the Front Door Before opening the front door, make sure the device is locked in place (wheels) and cannot move. Open the front door by pulling the handle to the right. Once the door is open, put the handle back down to a vertical position.
  • Page 7 Fill Washing Liquid Genano air purifiers use Genonex (Genano 5250) washing liquid. Attempting to use any other washing solu- tion may cause malfunction or even damage to the unit! The liquid is available as ready-to-use-solutions ( in 5 L canister) and washing liquid concentrates (1 L bottle).
  • Page 8 Close the Unit and Restart When the device has been reassembled, start it. If the parts are still moist, the device will not necessarily start, but the wash light turns on. The logic attempts to start operation every 60 seconds until the device is dry enough to start.

    TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE NO LIGHTS ARE ON IN THE UNIT AND THE FAN IS NOT WORKING. Check the power supply by attaching another electrical device to the same outlet or chaining the unit to another power outlet. If there is power coming into the unit, check the fuses on the PMU-card, if they are OK, change the step transformer of the fan.
