    • If the water pipe is new or has not been used for a long time, let a certain amount of water run before attaching the inlet hose. This stops any deposits of sand and other impurities from clogging the filters used by the machine to protect the water inlet valves.

    6. DRYING INSTRUCTIONS 6.1 GENERAL The washing is dried by means of a continuous flow of hot air produced by a fan which passes through the drum and removes humidity from the washing. This humidity is then condensed inside the machine when it comes into contact with the cold water.

    7.3 CLEANING THE DRAIN PUMP Only clean the drain pump if it is obstructed by buttons, hairpins and the like and the water cannot drain. In this case, proceed as follows. Remove the plug from the socket to disconnect the machine from the electrical power supply.
