GEAR HUB ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Attaching Tethers
1. Press gear wheel into cord end
2. Decide on Long or Short tether
Long Tether assembly
A. Fold cord and
insert into grip
B. Press closed tightly.
Ensure cord is folded
for secure attachment.
C. Add to crate and attach
cord end.
Knot cord to secure.
3. Optional lid tether
Add to crate and knot
cord to desired length.

GEAR HUB ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Tools required
Number 2 Pozi Screwdriver
Number 3 Phillips Screwdriver
10mm spanner (or adjustable spanner)

Caution;
Hand tools are recommended (to reduce the risk of stripping out the plastic).
However, we understand there are many screws to fasten.
If power tools are used, make sure of the following;
• Use the lowest torque setting
• Use the slowest speed setting
• Never fully tighten via power tools. Turn the screws until they are close to tight
and finish with manual screw driver.
Lubrication is recommended for the lid screws to prevent galling/seizing between
the screw and nut.
