1. Calling the operator's attention
The following cautionary symbols and headlines are used to invite the
operator's attention. Be sure to observe the accompanying precautions in
order to safeguard the operator and preserve the performance of the
instrument.

2. Safety precautions
Avoid pressure in excess of the allowable overload rating, or the
instrument can explode.
Avoid contact of a projecting object with the sensing surface, or the latter
may crack to result in the transducer's explosion.
Use the specified tightening torque. Improper tightening torque may
cause the transducer's explosion.
If excessive pressure could possibly occur, provide protective casing
around the transducer installation, in order to safeguard the operator.
Select sufficiently strong material for mounting screw hole.
Dismount the transducer only after the applied pressure has been
completely removed.
SUS630 (JIS G4303) is used where the transducer contacts a liquid.
Avoid application of the transducer to a corrosive liquid or gas.
3. Handling precautions
Caution
Do not disassemble the transmitter.
Take care to avoid damage to the liquid-contacting part and screw.
Protection code is IP52. It should not be used underwater.
When connecting power, make sure that the polarity and voltage are
correct. Exercise special care to prevent wrong wiring to the output
terminal.
Take care to avoid a surge voltage on the supply power and output.
If the instrument is to be exposed to vibration, take care to fix its cable as
much near as possible to the mainframe. Even when the cable has
been fixed within 30cm from the mainframe, vibration should be below
15G.

4. Installation
Using a gasket, mount the transmitter. Apply your spanner to the

spanner rest on the connecting screw section (24 width across flats of
hexagon) or the transmitter may be damaged. Also, turn the cable
together to protect the cable from damage due to twisting.
Use tightening torque within the range as follows.

40 to 50 N・m (5 to 200K)
50 to 70 N・m (300, 500K)
Use a new gasket.

Mount the transducer possibly closest to the pressure source.

When conduit is used, install a cock or valve between the conduit and
connection portion to easily mount and demount the wire conduit.

5.2 If output zero adjustment is required, remove the screw from the case
and turn the trimmer inside the case with a precision screwdriver. After
adjustment, be sure to cover securely with the O-ring screw to insure
waterproofing.
Caution
When adjusting, make sure that the tip of the screwdriver is inserted
in the groove of the trimmer.
This trimmer is a single rotation type with a mechanical rotation angle of
240

. Since the rotation is stopped at 240
