CAN 1 & CAN 2 Alva VESC supports communication over DRONECAN (UAVCAN v0). The CAN modules on the UAV should be connected in a daisy-chain with maximum stub-lengths of 300mm. The two ends of the daisy-chain should be terminated with a resistor of 120 Ohm.
V-BAT + 6 Communication Alva VESC supports triple-redundancy for the throttle input. The two CAN-ports and the PPM-port is always actively listening. The CAN-ports holds higher priority than the PPM-port. The PPM throttle input will time-out for 100ms if any of the two CAN-ports receive a motor throttle command.
