    2. Safety instructions General safety instructions The machine may only be operated by people who are trained, instructed and authorised for its use. These people must know the operating instructions and act in accordance with them. The respective competences of the operating personnel are clearly defined. Operating personnel undergoing training may only initially work with the machine under the supervision of an experienced person.

Only use original spare parts / original wear parts / original accessories - these parts are specially designed for the machine.

The desired lifting height of the Binderberger H6 log splitter can be steplessly adjusted by chain. The user can thus adjust the setting flexibly, quickly and with just one movement of the hand to the respective requirements.

    4.Transportation Transport journeys and journeys in public roads Before transporting the machine, all points of decommissioning must be carried out. When driving on public roads, the national legal regulations must be observed! If the log splitter is hitched to the tractor and you want to transport it, make sure that there are no parts on the machine that could fall off and that the log splitter is properly attached to the tractor's 3-point linkage.

    5. Set up Check direction of rotation of motor Switch on the motor only briefly and check the direction of rotation on the fan blades of the motor. The correct direction of rotation is indicated by the sticker on the fan cover of the motor. If the direction of rotation is not correct, disconnect the supply line to the log splitter.

    5. Set up Connecting the PTO shaft Drive the tractor in front of the log splitter and hitch it to the tractor's three- point linkage. Park the tractor. Now you can connect the splitter and the tractor to the PTO shaft.

    6. Operation How the safety two-hand control works The splitting process can only be triggered by pressing both hand levers downwards or, in the case of the SP8, by pulling them forwards. If only one hand lever is pressed, no movement takes place. The same applies if only one hand lever is released during the splitting process.

    6. Operation Splitting length adjustment (SP8) To adjust the splitting length of the log splitter, extend the cylinder to the desired height by pressing the two hand levers. Once you have reached the optimum position, release one of the hand levers. The cylinder remains in this position and you can adjust the stroke height.

    6. Operation The splitting process (SP8) Place the wood in the splitting tray. Adjust the height of the splitting wedge with the lever (1) to the right of the two- hand control. This can either be set all the way down to split the wood only centrally into two pieces or into four pieces in one splitting operation.
