    6. operation 6.1 Before initial commissioning NOTE For hygienic reasons, you should clean the inside and outside of your new refrigerator with a damp cloth before using it for the first time (see also "Cleaning and maintenance" on page 19). NOTICE! Danger of overheating! Always ensure adequate ventilation to dissipate the heat generated during operation.

    6.3 Use of the refrigerator  The Main switch (rotary knob) on the left-hand side of the control panel is in the OFF position when the unit is unpacked.  Connection to 230V~ mains ⚠Danger! Never touch the plugs and switchs with wet hands or when standing on a wet surface.
  • Page 13 After about 2 hours of operation, you will notice a significant drop in temperature. If the temperature in the refrigerator is too low, you can set the temperature from MAX to half of MIN to prevent your stored food, fresh vegetables or drinks from freezing.

Therefore, you should not use the refrigerator in extremely low ambient temperatures to avoid freezing or damaging food, fresh vegetables, fruit or drinks. NOTE! To switch off the DC, simply switch off the unit and then switch off the power supply.

The pressure regulator must be suitable for butane (28 mbar) or propane (37 mbar). Use a suitable regulator certified according to EN 16129: 2013. To connect the pressure regulator to the gas cylinder, the cylinder valve must be closed.
