- Page 2 How to install your active module Do not connect the amplifier unit to the mains supply until it is securely fitted in to the loudspeaker. Disconnect the cable from the passive crossover Remove the screws from the existing Gently remove the backplate from by firmly pressing the connector tab (A) and backplate with the hex key included the speaker cabinet.
