Page 6: What Is A Vo-Box
The Vo-box is placed 'in between' the HDMI cable. The tv is usually connected to the external decodeer by such an HDMI kabel. This cable going into the tv is now inserted in the Vo-box, which in its' turn is then connected back to the tv with the cable that is included in the box. -

The serial number This 5-digit number preceeded by a capital G (e.g. G12345) can be found on the type plate on the bottom panel of the Vo-box, on the outside of the package and in the settings menu. This serial number... -

2 SETTING UP THE VO-BOX The Vo-box merely needs power and a video source to start showing the enhanced subtitles to you. This is described in the 'Basic setup' example below. Some other examples that may better suit your environment or your needs are also described. -
Page 9: Multiple Video Sources
Swapping cables to this input can be a temporary solution to use the Vo-box with multiple video sources, but the following description explains how to use a so-called HDMI switch. Such a switch is not included with the Vo-box, but can be bought in any electronics- or computer-store. - Page 10 'DECODER' input of the Vo-box. Use another HDMI cable to connect the 'TV' output of the Vo-box to one of the HDMI inputs on the tv. Set the tv to the correct HDMI input to watch the signal from the tv-settop box.

The remote control has 8 buttons. The [ON] button is located in the top right corner. This button will either switch the Vo-box off (standby) or switch it on again. 4 HOW TO USE The Vo-box will automatically switch ON when it detects a video- signal on its' HDMI input. You may need to press the ON button on the remote control to activate the Vo-box. Menu The Vo-box menu allows you to change usually one-time settings. -

Menu - Subtitles - Typeface (font) The Vo-box can show the enlarged subtitles in different typefaces a.k.a. fonts. Use the [Left] or [Right] button to choose a font that you find pleasant to read. A sample text is shown in the bottom of the screen. -

Enter the decoder's settings menu and set the video qualtity to 1080p or 1080i. Can also use the Vo-box when I just have a tv without an external decoder or other video-source? The Vo-box can not function when the video is generated within the tv e.g. - Page 21 Vo-box. A second option would be to start the on-demand service on your smart-phone or PC and then stream it to a Chrome Cast connected to the Vo-box. A third option is to connect your PC to the Vo-box directly with a HDMI cable.
