Congratulations on your purchase of the Buccan Slow Juicer.
Read this manual carefully to understand how to use the device. Keep
this manual for future reference as it contains important information.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Before use, read the instruction manual carefully, Keep the instruction
manual for later use.
• Before connecting the device to the mains supply, make sure that the
parameters of the mains correspond to the data on the rating plate of
the device.
• Do not exceed the maximum time of continuous operation of the
device.
• The device is intended solely for private indoor use.
• Before switching the device on, make sure that all its parts are
properly assembled. Do not switch the device on without the
container lid fitted.
• Do not carry or move the device during use.
• During the device operation do not put your fingers or any objects
(cutlery, tools, etc.) into the jug opening – only use the pusher to push
products down!
• Do not leave the device unattended when it is connected to the
mains.
• Do not use the device continuously for longer than 20 minutes. After
this time, turn off the device and wait 1 hour before restarting.
• After work, before cleaning, before assembly and disassembly and
before leaving the device unattended always disconnect the device
from the power supply.
• This device may be used by people with reduced physical or mental
capabilities and people with no experience and knowledge, if they
are provided with supervision or instructions on using the device in a
safe manner, so that the associated risks are understood.
• Children should not play with the equipment. The device should not
be used by children. Keep the device and its power cord out of the
reach of children.
• If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the
manufacturer, its authorised technical service or a specialist in order
to avoid a hazard.
• Do not touch the device with wet hands.
• To prevent electric shock, do not immerse the plug, the power cord
or the device in water or other liquids.
• Do not use the device if the power cord is damaged, when the device
was dropped or otherwise damaged. The device must be repaired by
an authorised service centre; the information is found in the warranty
card. Modernising the device or using spare parts or components
other than original is strictly forbidden and poses a danger to the
user.
• Turn the juicer off and disconnect it from the power supply before
getting in contact with the elements that rotate during the device
operation or before disassembling the accessories.
• Failure to follow the instruction manual may cause hazardous
situations or even injuries.

FIRST USE
Before the first use of the juicer:
– Read this instruction manual carefully,
– Remove all packaging and check its contents,
– Make sure that no elements are broken,
– Thoroughly wash the parts that come into contact with food,
– Assemble the device.
ASSEMBLY
1. Make sure that the silicone stopper (8) at the bottom of the juicer
jug (5) is inserted.
NOTE: The silicone stopper is designed to prevent unwanted leakage
of juice.
2. Place the juicer jug (5) on the drive shaft pin (9) so as the jug handle
(4) is on the right side and the juice outlet opening (7) on the left
side of the juicer body (10). Pay attention to proper fit of the jug to
the blender body.
NOTE: Never carry the blender holding the jug handle (4). The jug is not
permently fixed!
3. Place the worm-screw (3) in the juicer jug (5) and press firmly to the
jug bottom until it is fully retracted. If necessary, turn the worm-
screw slightly and then tighten again.
4. Place the lid (2) on the juicer jug (5) and turn right until it clicks.
5. Place the pulp and juice jugs (12, 13) under the outlet openings
(6, 7).
6. Connect the juicer to the mains.
OPERATION
To obtain the best juice the products must be properly prepared. Cut
peeled (if necessary) and washed fruit or vegetables into pieces fitting
the inlet in the lid (2). Long (e.g. carrots) or fibrous (e.g. pineapple)
products divide into shorter/smaller pieces. Slow extrusion gives
the best results, therefore do not press the pusher too much as the
quality of juice may be affected or, in extreme cases, the juicer may be
damaged.
• Put the assembled device on a stable, flat surface and connect to the
mains,
• Make sure that the juice jug (13) is placed under the juice outlet
opening (7), and the stopper is open,
• Make sure that the pulp jug (12) is placed under the pulp outlet
opening (6),
• Turn the device on turning the switch (11) to position (the device will
start after a while and the switch will start flashing),
• Insert product portions into the inlet in the lid (2) and using the pusher
(1), move them down into the rotating worm-screw (3),
NOTE! NEVER PUT YOUR FINGERS OR ANY OBJECTS INTO THE
INLET!!!
