- Page 6 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Do not operate the tower fan without the base. The tower fan base composes of two pieces, front base and rear base. Step 1: The base needs to be connected together. Step 2: Before connecting the base to the tower fan, align and insert the plastic pins on the back of the base with the holes on the front of the base until the two pieces fit together and click into place.
