Assembling the earth auger

Please assemble the earth auger as followed (see illustration page 3):
1. Set the extension tube (B) on the output shaft on the machine unit (A) lock with bolt and
split.
2. Insert the Auger bit (C) into the extension tube (B) lock with bolt and split.

Operation

1. Before starting the machine, position the auger upright at the desired
drilling point.
2. Position your feet away from the auger bit, ensure a stable and not
slippery foothold.
3. Hold the 2 handles with both hands firmly and press the back plate
close to your thighs
4. Press the safe lock button and slowly squeeze trigger lever.
5. The auger bit will start drilling. To make your drilling more efficient and
stabil. Add a consistent pressure on the handles.
6. Pull periodically, the auger bit out of the drilling hole remove earth and
debris and reinsert auger bit.
Important! Keep the back plate of the machine close to your body at all times. The machine
will strike backwards, when the auger gets jammed during drilling.
Do not put your body weight on the machine, while drilling.
Only use approved auger bits provided by the manufacturer.
Do not operate the machine in excessively hard terrain.
Extension cord
The Extension cord my get disconnected from the power supply during use. This can be
avoided by making a knot with the two cords
Use only extension cords approved for outdoor use
Keep cord away from auger and drilling place.
Before usage; ensure that the cord is safe and not worn. Replace if necessary

Storage and maintenance

Before carrying out any maintenance, cut off the electric power supply by disconnecting the plug
from the extension cable.
Regular cleaning and maintenance of your appliance will ensure efficiency and prolong the
life of your appliance.
Only use a cloth soaked with hot water and a soft brush to clean the application. Never wet
or spray water on the machine!
Do not use detergents or solvents as these could cause irreparable damage to your
appliance. Chemicals can ruin the plastic parts.
To protect the application from corrosion when storing for a longer period, treat the metal
parts with harmless oil to the environment.
Store the appliance in a dry room out reach of kids.
