Maintenence
Front panel access
Open front panel to install refill cartridge, change batteries, or adjust
the amount dispensed during each use.
1. Press maintenance mode button located on the front left underside of the
dispenser (Figure 1). This pauses the motion sensor for 30 seconds. This
button can also be used to prevent waste when cleaning the area below
the dispenser.
2. Insert key in slot at rear left or right under dispenser, seen in Figure 2
(either side will work).
3. Push key up until it clicks and the front cover releases to swing open.
4. Removable key may be used to limit access, or thumb tab key may be left in
place for convenience.
Installing and replacing refill cartridges
Refill cartridges slide in and out of place requiring no other release
mechanism (Figure 3).
1. Remove empty dispenser cartridge by sliding it straight out from dispenser.
2. Install new cartridge by lining up refill bottle with slots in dispenser and you
should feel it click gently into place.
Adjusting amount dispensed
This adjustment feature lets you select 3 different
amounts of product dispensed.
1. With cartridge bottle removed, access the orange bar on the
dispenser (Figure 4).
2. Adjust usage amount from 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 mL by moving the orange bar
from left to right (Figure 5), respectively. It is easily adjusted using a pen or
other pointed object.
Replacing batteries (4 Type D required)
1. To replace batteries, open front panel as discussed above.
Slide out cartridge bottle if there is one in place (Figure 3).
2. Press in gray lever at the back of the bottle neck insertion
area and swing down the battery access panel (Figure 6).
3. Check batteries for proper installation using the image to the right
(Figure 7), or the + and – signs on the access panel door.
Replace as needed with fresh D batteries.
4. Close the battery panel, slide cartridge back in place and close the
front panel. Pass hand under sensor a few times to prime the unit
until it begins dispensing.
NOTE: Make sure the battery indicator flashes green and that product
dispenses properly. If not, check batteries for proper installation and power.
