    4. GENERAL INFORMATION The ‘FLOW Vortex pre-filter’ combines superior water filtration with ease of operation and totally corrosion-resistant construction. With filtration ratings to 32000 liters/hour they are designed for continuous or intermittent operation. For installation above or below the pool water line, for fresh or salt water swimming pools or spa’s.

    4.1. Installation This product should be installed and serviced only by a qualified pool professional. WARNING - The filter system should be installed in a stable manner in the water circuit and should be supported if necessary. Select a well drained and vented .. area, one that does not flood when it rains. Position the filter so that the piping connections are convenient and accesible for operation, service, maintenance and winterizing.

    Verify that top and sediment bowl are properly secured Verify that the filter ring is in the CLOSED position, and no filter components are missing, damaged or not genuine DuraTech components. - Close filter drain. - Open all system valves to allow water from the pool to the filtration system and from the filter to return to the pool.

    5.2 Maintaining your filter This product should be installed and serviced only by a qualified pool professional. WARNING 5.2.1 Checkup debris in sediment bowl When the collected debris reaches the maximum level indication on the sediment bowl, the dirt should be purged out of the sediment bowl by opening the valve in the drain pipe.
