Instructions Before Start

Read the manual before using this product. Keep these instructions for future reference.

About Records

  1. Never use a record that is cracked or warped, as this may cause extreme wear and destruction of the needle.
  2. Never use unusual play methods such as scratching. This unit is not designed for such playback.
  3. Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, high temperature or high humidity. This may cause warping or deformation. When holding the record, hold only the label or the outer edge.
  4. Do not touch the record groove. Dust and fingerprints may cause distortion of the sound. Care of the record
  5. Use a special record cleaner and cleaner solution (sold separately). Wipe the record cleaner in a circular motion along the record groove.

About USB flash drive applicable

  1. The file format that can be played by this unit is MP3/WAV (extension: mp3./wav.) only. USB supported in FAT/FAT32 format only.
  2. This product is not compatible with USB hubs..
  3. When a large capacity USB flash drive is connected, it may take some time to load the file.
  4. Press and hold the Pause/Play/DEL button on the unit to erase the files stored in the USB flash drive one by one.
  5. It is recommended that you make a backup of your files beforehand to prevent them from being erased unexpectedly by pressing the Pause/Play button on the panel.

About Bluetooth

  1. The Bluetooth devices used in this unit use the same frequency band (2.4GHz) as wireless LAN devices (IEEE802.11b/g/n), so if they are used near each other, they may interfere with each other, resulting in reduced communication speed or connection failure. In this case, please use it as far away as possible (about 10m).
  2. We do not guarantee the connection with all Bluetooth devices.
  3. Also, depending on the conditions, it may take some time to connect.

Received a defective record player?
Notice:
The gap between the case and the spinning mechanism is for vibration-absorbing, it's a commonly used design for starter turntable, which could be considered being defective mistakenly.

Connecting the main unit to Power

  1. Plug the power cord into the DC Input on the back of the unit.
  2. Then plug the USB side into a the DC adapter included.
  3. Plug in the adapter into the Standard wall power outlet.

Playing a Record Initially

It is recommended that you use extreme care when manipulating the tone arm, stylus, and other components of this turntable. These parts are very sensitive and can easily break or become damaged if they are carelessly handled.
Playing a Record Initially - Step 1

  1. Turn the the Power/Volume Knob clockwise till the LED display lights up, if not, check the power and adapter.
  2. Turn the mode selection knob to "Phono". Then remove the shroud that protects the stylus, and release the lock that holds the Tone Arm in it's resting position.
  3. Select the correct turntable speed based on the size of record you wish to play, and place the record on the turntable. If you are playing a 45 rpm record, use the included adapter and place it between the turntable and the record.
  4. Use the Tone Arm Lift Switch to raise the Tone Arm from its catch. Before initial use, turn the turntable clockwise about 10 times by hand to make sure there is no belt shift or kinks from the pulleys.
  5. Using your hand, gently swing the Tone Arm into the desired location over the record. The turntable will start spinning as the Tone Arm is moved into position.
  6. Use the Tone Arm Lift Switch to safely lower the stylus onto the record.
    Using the Lift Switch instead of your hand will reduce the chance of accidentally damaging the record or the stylus.
  7. Slide the Auto Stop Switch to ON to enable the Auto Stop feature. When the record is finished playing, it will automatically stop the turntable. Use the Lift Switch to raise the stylus off of the record, and gently return the Tone Arm to the catch by hand.

Note:
Some records is beyond the Auto Stop range of this unit. In these cases, the record will stop playing before the last track is reached. Set the Auto Stop Switch to OFF and use the Tone Arm Lift Switch to safely raise the stylus off the record when the end of the record has been reached.
Playing a Record Initially - Step 2

Bluetooth Input--- pairing with Bluetooth

  1. Set the auto-stop to "ON" and turn the mode selection knob on the control panel aim to "BT" on the panel.
  2. Using the controls on your Bluetooth device, search for and select"BLTD"in your Bluetooth settings to pair. If your device requests a password, enter the default password "0 0 0 0 " and press OK.
  3. When successfully paired, an audible chime will sound.After initial pairing, the unit will stay paired unless unpaired manually by the user or erased due to a reset of the device. If your device should become unpaired or you find it is unable to connect, repeat the above steps.
  4. Play, pause or skip a selected track using the controls on the connected Bluetooth Device or the controls on the turntable.

On an iPhone

  • Go to SETTINGS > BLUETOOTH Search for devices ( Bluetooth is ON)

On an Android Phone

  • Go to SETTINGS > BLUETOOTH Search for devices (Bluetooth is ON)

USB Recording Vinyl Records

NOTE: USB in FAT/FAT32 format ONLY, NOT support USB in exFAT or NTFS format

  1. Use the above methods to play a record.
  2. Insert your USB stick into the USB slot.Press and hold the "M" button for 1 second, you will hear a beep sound and it begins to recording.
  3. Stop recording. Press and hold the "M" button for 1 second that will stop the recording and save the recording as the last file, only after this that you can plug out the USB device.
  4. Find below file name on your PC, and repeat steps 2-3 above if you want the other recordings.

USB Playback Music

  1. USB in FAT/FAT32 format ONLY, NOT support USB in exFAT or NTFS format
  2. Insert your USB stick into the USB slot. Turn the Mode selection knob aim to "AUX", then press and hold "M" button, it will load the songs that is playable, you can control tracks by the Previous /Next Track button or Pause/Play/DEL button.
  • Never remove the USB memory card while recording. If you remove it, the recorded data may be damaged.
  • Make sure that the USB memory card you use has enough space.
  • For recording, press "M" Mode switching / recording button at the start and end of each song.
  • All songs recorded as one file. It will not automatically separate songs ( it will not be individual data for each song)

RCA Connecting to External Systems

Requires RCA audio cables (red/white, not included). Use to connect the turntable to an external stereo, or other source.

  1. Connect RCA audio cables to the RCA Audio Output on the back of the turntable, and to the audio input of an external stereo system.
  2. Adjust the external stereo system to accept input from the turntable.
  3. Audio played through the turntable will now be heard through the connected stereo system.

AUX Connecting to External Devices

Requires AUX cables (not included). Use to connect the turntable to an external devices like phone, tablets, mp3 player.

  1. Turn on the unit and turn the mode selection knob aim to "AUX" on the control panel.
  2. Plug a line-in cable into theAux jack on the unit and the other side into an MP3 Player or other audio source.
  3. Use the controls on your connected music player to select and play audio.

  1. Connect headphones / earphones (sold separately) to "HEADPHONE".
  2. Adjust the volume with "Power Volume knob of this unit.

HOW TO REPLACE THE NEEDLE

The durability time of the recoil needle is about 200-250 hours. Replace the needle if necessary.

Remove the Needle
The stylus needle is universal type and purchasable on Amazon.com.

  1. Gently pull down the front edge of the needle.
  2. Pull needle forward.
  3. Pull out and remove.

Installing Needle

  1. Position the needle with its tip facing down.
  2. Line up the back of the needle with the cartridge.
  3. Insert the needle with its front end at a downward angle and gently lift the front of the needleupward until it snaps into place.

Troubleshooting

There is no power

  • Power adaptor is not connected correctly.
  • No power at the power outlet.
  • Use the wrong adapter instead of the original one included.
  • Power knob is not turned on, turn the Power/Volume knob clockwise to turn on.

My record is skipping

  • Use the tonearm lift raise up and down the arm for 10 times before initial spinning.
  • Change vinyl records or clean the vinyl records grooves properly even it's new record.
  • The needle is not in the middle of the stylus or broken, replace it using above method.
  • Put the record player on the flat surface with 4 legs/corners on the ground.
  • The white stylus protector is till on.

Power is on, but the platter does not turn

  • Turntable drive belt has slipped off.
  • An aux in cable is plugged into the aux in jack, unplug it.
  • Bluetooth is connected, disconnect it and reset the mode to "PHO"

Turntable is spinning, but no sound, or not loud enough

  • Turntable volume is too low, turn it clockwise to volume up. Audio source volume is set too low.
  • Stylus protector is still on.
  • Tone arm is lifted up but not on the record. Lower it down using the tonearm lift.
  • Volume is not loud enough or not good: connect to the external powered speakers.

USB Recording not working

  • USB is not being formatted in FAT/FAT32 format.
  • USB flash drive has little room for storage.
  • USB is pulled out when recording is working.
  • User didn't press and hold "M" button till enter into recording mode.
