Light follower
For a light follower, the red cables should be
plugged in on the inside. If, more light falls on the
left sensor, then the right motor will run faster.

How the motor cables are plugged in defines
whether varikabi will follow the light or shadows
(dark objects).
Shadow follower
For a shadow follower, the black cables should be
on the inside. If, for example, more light falls on
the left sensor, then the left motor will run faster.
