Windshield removal kit

Operating Instructions
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this document
including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.
Two people are needed
to use this product and to safely handle
and remove old windshield.
1. Park vehicle in a location with plenty of light, set
the emergency brake and turn off the engine.
2. Remove trim from perimeter of windshield.
3. Remove the seal strip, then separate the
rubber edge with a knife (sold separately).
4. Cut two to three feet of Wire (1) and bend
it over the groove on Hook Tool (3).
5. Working outside of vehicle, push Hook Tool
between windshield and frame until
wire is exposed inside vehicle.
6. From inside vehicle, pull wire through to
1/2 its length. Remove Hook Tool.

7. Attach a Pull Grip to each end of wire:
a. Push up the attachment post to
expose slot and grip hole.
b. Feed end of wire into attachment post
through slot and into grip hole.
c. Push attachment post into
Pull Grip to secure the wire.
8. Repeat previous step for the second Pull Grip.

Note: Make sure both ends of wire
are secured to the Pull Grips.
9. With assistance, (one person inside car, the
other outside), move the Pull Grips along
perimeter of windshield using a sawing motion.
10. When windshield is separated from frame, carefully
lift off windshield and set it in a safe location.
11. Scrape off any glue from windshield frame and
prepare for installation of new windshield.
