Screw a 7.5 mm T-2 extension
path corrector (1.25x:
extension and fix it with the plastic centering ring which comes with the glasspath
corrector. Now screw the binocular onto the Herschel wedge with the T-2 coupling nut.
Rotate the binocular into a comfortable position and tighten the coupling nut.
For bino viewers with Zeiss ring dovetail, proceed as follows:
The glass path corrector 2.6x is inserted into the 7.5 mm extension
the black centering ring as described above for bino-viewers with T-2 coupling nut.
Then screw the T-2 quick changer (TQC heavy duty T-2 quick changer

with the ring dovetail. The glasspath corrector is held in place by the ring dovetail of
the binocular.
The glasspath correctors 1.25x and 1.7x are screwed into the ring dovetail located
on the bino viewer as usual without

Attaching a camera

Cameras with a long flange focal length, such as digital
SLR cameras with a flange focal length of 55 mm, do
not usually come into focus, as most refractors are
designed to use these cameras without an additional
star diagonal. In this case, you have to remove the 2"
ClickLock
and replace it with the Diamond Steeltrack
®

Astronomical cameras with a 1¼" or 2" nose piece
can usually be used behind the Herschel prism without any problems.
Astronomical cameras with a T-2 thread can be used directly on the Herschel prism
with the Baader 2" / T-2 (M48) nosepiece
DSLR, you can remove the 2" ClickLock
schel prism via the Diamond Steeltrack
or via an additional, optional T-2 quick release.
