@ Alpine component with pre-out DIN connectors

After the 3528 is securely mounted, following the instal-
lation steps above, connect the pre-out from your com-
ponent to the input of the 3528.
Select the output mode and the speaker connector by
referring to the instructions on Output Mode Selector
and Speaker Connection in this manual.
. Set the Input Selector Switch to DIN position.
. Connect the Speaker output lead to the speakers.
. Pulg in the speaker connector to the Speaker Output
Connector on the 3528.
. Connect the ignition lead of the 3528 to the ignition
terminal: (When the ignition is turned off, the 3528 will
be 'turned off automatically).
Secure the ground lead to a clean and bare metal deat
Connect the battery lead directly to the battery teminal.

I. After the 3528 is securely mounted, following the instal-
lation steps above, connect the output plugs of the
head unit to the input jacks of the 3528.
Select the output mode and the speaker connector by
referring to the instructions on Output Mode Selector
and Speaker Connection in this manual.
. Set the Input Selector Switch to the "RCA" position and
adjust the input Gain Control (0.1V~2V) for the max-
imum sound volume with no clipping distortion, refer-
ring to the owner's manual for the head unit.

. Connect the speaker output leads to the speakers.
. Connect the power antenna output from the head unit
which provides a +12V remote-on signal to the power
antenna input lead (male) of the 3528.
NOTE:
If these leads are not connected together, the 3528 will not
turn on. If your head unit does not have a power antenna
output, a toggle switch (SPST) is required and must be
connected to an ignition source (+ 12V) to provide turn-on
signal to the 3528.
6. Secure the ground lead to a clean and bare metal spot.
7. Connect the battery lead directly to the battery terminal.

li. Nachdem der 3528 entsprechend obiger Montagean-
weisungen fest eingebaut ist, verbinden Sie die vor-aus
Stecker Ihrer Komponente mit dem Eingang des 3528.
. Wahlen Sie die Ausgangsart und den Lautsprecheran-
schlu8. Lesen Sie dazu die Hinweise Uber Ausgangs-
artwahler und Lautsprecheranschlu8 in dieser Bedie-
nungsanleitung.
. Stellen Sie den Eingangswahischalter auf die DIN Posi-
tion.
. SchlieBen Sie die Lautsprecherausgangsleitung an die
Lautsprecher an.
. SchlieBen Sie den Stecker der Lautsprecher an den
Lautsprecherausgangsstecker des 3528 an.
. SchlieBen Sie die Zindleitung des 3528 an die Zun-
dung an. (Wird die Ziundung ausgeschaltet, schaltet
sich der 3528 automatisch aus.)
. Befestigen Sie das Erdungskabel an einer bloBen, sau-
beren Metallstelle des Chassis.
. SchlieBen Sie die Batteriezuleitung direkt an die Batte-
rie an.

gangsbuchsen

. Wahlen Sie die Ausgangsart und den Lautsprecheran-
schlu8. Lesen Sie dazu die Hinweise tber Ausgangs-
artwahler und LautsprecheranschluB in dieser Bedie-
nungsanleitung.
. Stellen Sie den Eingangswahlschalter auf die "RCA"
Position und justieren den Wahlschalter fur Eingangs-
empfindlichkeit
(0.1~2 V) entsprechend
der Bedie-
nungsanleitung
fiir das Steuergerat auf maximales
Klangvolumen, ohne schneidende Verzerrung.

SchlieBen Sie die Lautsprecherausgangskabel an die
Lautsprecher an.
5. Verbinden
Sie den Antennenausgang
des Steuerge-
rats, der ein +12 V Ferbedienungs-ein Signal ermég-
licht, an die Antenneneingangszuleitung (Stecker) des
3528 an.
HINWEIS:
Werden diese Leitungen nicht verbunden, schaltet sich der
3528 nicht ein. Wenn thr Steuergerat keinen Antennenaus-
gang hat, ist ein Kippschalter (SPST) erforderlich, der an
die Ziindung (12 V) angeschlossen wird. Hiermit kann der
3528 dann eingeschaltet werden.

TIE PRE-AMPLI DIN
Une fois l'Alpine 3528 correctement monté, confor-
mément aux instructions de montage ci-avant, rac-
cordez la sortie pré-ampli de votre élément a la prise
sur le 3528.
. Choisissez le mode de sortie et la connexion haut-
parleurs, en suivant les instructions relatives au
Sélecteur de mode de soitie et a la Connexion de
haut-parleurs.
. Réglez le Sélecteur de mode d'entrée en position
DIN.
. Raccordez les fils de sortie HP aux haut-parleurs.
. Branchez
le connecteur
de haut-parleur dans
la
prise de sortie HP sur !''arpli 3528.
. Raccordez le connexion d'allumage de I'ampli a la
borne du circuit d'allumage du véhicule. (En mettant
le contact, l''ampli est automatiquement mis sous
tension.)
. Fixez le fil de mise a la masse a une section métalli-
que bien nettoyée.
. Connectez le cable d'alimentation batterie directe-
ment a la borne de celle-c}.

Une fois l'Alpine 3528 correctement montée, conformé-
ment aux indications de montage ci-avant, branchez
les connexions de sortie de l'unité pilote dans les prises
d'entrée de l'ampii.
Choisissez le mode de sortie de puissance ainsi que le
connecteur de haut-parleurs, en suivant les instructions
concernant le Sélecteur de mode de sortie et la Con-
nexion des haut-parleurs.
. Réglez le Commutateur de sélection d'entrée en posi-
tion "RCA" et ajustez le Contrdle de gain d'entrée
(0,1V~2V) en position de volume maximum sans distor-
sion de créte, en suivant les instructions du Mode
d'emploi de l'appareil pilote.

. Branchez les fils de sortie HP aux haut-parleurs.
Branchez le fil de sortie antenne de l'unité
principale, véhiculant un signal de télecommande +
12V, dans la prise d'antenne (male) de l'ampli.
REMARQUE:
Si ces connexions ne sont pas branchées ensemble, i! sera
impossible de mettre l'ampli sous tension. Si votre appareil
pilote n'a pas de sortie antenne, il faut monter un interrup-
teur A bascule (SPTS) et le connecter au circuit d'allumage
(+12V) pour qu'un signal de mise sous tension puisse étre
envoyé a l'ampli.

Componenti Alpine con connettori DIN di preampli-
ficazione
Dopo avere installato in modo sicuro il 3528 nel modo
gia spiegato, collegate il connettore di preampilficazio-
ne del vostro componente all'ingresso del 3528.
Selezionate il modo di uscita ed i! connettore dei diffu-
sori consultando le istruzioni sul selettore del modo di
uscita e sul collegamenti dei diffusori di questo manua-
le.
. Portate il selettore di ingresso sulla posizione DIN.
. Collegate il filo d'uscita del diffusori ai diffusori.
. Collegate i! connettore dei diffusori al connettore d'u-
scita dei diffusori del 3528.
Collegate il cavo di accensione del 3528 al terminale
dell'accensione (quando Ia vettura viene spenta, anche
il 3528 viene spento automaticamente).
Fermate il filo di terra ad un punto in metallo pulito e a
nudo del telaio della vettura.
. Collegate il cavo della batteria direttamente al terminale
di quest'ultima.
Componente con connettori di tipo RCA
Dopo avere installato in modo sicuro il 3528 nel modo
gia spiegato,
collegate le prese di uscita dell'unita
principale alle prese d'ingresso del 3528.
. Selezionate il modo di uscita ed il connettore dei diffu-
sori consultando le istruzioni sul selettore del modo di
uscita e sul collegamenti dei diffusori di questo manua-
le.
Portate il selettore di ingresso sulla posizione RCA e
regolate il controllo del guadagno d'ingresso (0,1
V—2
V) per ottenere il massimo volume senza distorsione di
troncamento consultando il manuale dell'unita princi-
pale.

. Collegate it filo d'uscita del diffusori ai diffusori.
. Collegate l'uscita dell'antenna automatica dell'unita
princinale che ematte il segnale a 12 V di comandc a
distanza al cavo di ingresso (maschio) del 3528.
NOTA:
Se questi cavi non vengono collegati, ii 3528 non si accen-
de. Se Ja vostra unita non possiede un'uscita per antenna
automatica, @ necessario un interruttore toggle (SPST) da
collegare al circuito d'accensione
(+12 V) per fornire il
segnale d'accensione al 3528.

Collegate il cavo di terra ad un punto in metallo pulito ed

CONEXIONES
@ ELEMENTO ALPINE CON CONECTORES DIN DE SA-
LIDA AMPLIFICADOR
1. Después de haber instalado correctamente el Alpine
3528, conformemente a las instrucciones de montaje
indicadas mas arriba, conecte fa salida-amplificador
de vuestro elemento a la toma en el Alpine 3528.
. Escoja el modo de salida y la conexion de altavoces,
segun las instrucciones relativas al Selector del modo
de salida y a la Conexi6n de altavoces.
. Coloque el Selector del modo de entrada en la posicién
DIN.
. Enchufe tos hilos de salida-altavoces en los altavoces.
. Enchufe el conector de altavoz en la toma de salida-
altavoces de! amplificador.
. Conecte la conexién-encendido de! amplificador al
borne del circuito de encendido del coche. (Al poner el
motor en marcha, el amplificador se enciende automa-
ticamente.)
. Fije el hilo de puesta a tierra a una seccién metalica
previamente limpiada.
. Conecte el cable de alimentacién por bateria directa-
mente al terminal de la bateria del coche.
e@ ELEMENTO ALPINE CON CONECTORES RCA
1.
Después de haber instalado correctamente el ampli-
ficador, conformemente a las instrucciones de montaje
indicada mas arriba, enchufe las conexiones de salida
del aparato piloto en las tomas de entrada del ampii-
ficador.
. Escoja el modo de salida de potencia y la conexién de
altavoces, segun las instrucciones relativas al Selector
del modo de salida y a la Conexidn de altavoces.
. Coloque el Conmutador de seleccién de entrada en la
posicién "RCA" y ajuste el Control de ganancia de
entrada (0, 1V~2V) en posici6én de volumen maximo sin
distorsi6n de crestas, segun las instrucciones del Ma-
nual del Usuario del aparato piloto.

. Conecte los hilos de salida-altavoces a los altavoces.
. Enchufe el hilo de salida de antena del aparato princi-
pal, que suministra una senal de telemando + 12V, enla
toma de entena (conector macho) del amplificador.
OBSERVACION:
Le sera imposible encender el amplificador sin haber esta-
blecido el conjunto de esas conexiones. Si su aparato piloto
no tiene salida de antena, es necesario montar un interrup-
tor de palanca (SPTS) y conectarlo al circuito de encendido
del coche (+12V), para poder enviar al amplificador una
sefial de activacién.
6. Fije el hilo de puesta a tierra a una seccién metalica
previamente limpiada.
7. Conecte el cable de alimentacién por bateria directa-
mente al terminal de la baterfa del coche.
