Damage

Shipment

The
Instrument should be thoroughly
inspected
immediately
upon
receipt.
All material
in
the container
should
be checked
against
the enclosed packing
list.
The
manufacturer
will
not be
responsible for
Portages
against
the
packing
sheet
unless notified
immediately.
If
the
instrument
fails
to
operate
properly, or
is
damaged
in
any
way,
a
claim
^ould
be
filed
with
the
carrier.
A
full
report
of
the
damage
should be obtained
by
the claim
agent,
and
this
report
should be forwarded
to the
John
Fluke
representative.
Upon
receipt
of
this
report
you
will
be
advised of the disposition of the
equipment
for
repair
or replacement.
Include the
model number,
type
number, and
serial
number when
referring
to
this instru-
ment
for
any
reason.

be shipped
prepaid
in
the ori^nal packing carton.
Upon
request, a
new
carton
can be obtained from

Fluke

new

Accessory
kits are available
to provide
for
instal-
lation
of
the instrument
in
rack or
sliding
mounts.
2-9.
To
install
the rack
mounting
ears
(MEE-7003),
perform
the following steps
in
conjunction with
Figure
2-1.
a.
Remove
the four
molded
feet
and
the
bail
from
the
bottom
cover.
b.
Remove
the
nameplate
decals
from
the corner
casting.
c.
Remove
the
screws
from
the corner
castings that
match
the
hole pattern
in
the rack
mounting
ears.
d.
Attach
the rack
mounting
ears
with pan head
screws.
