    JONIX CLIMATE Any other use is to be considered inappropriate and the manufacturer declines all liability for any damage caused to persons, property or the unit that may derive from such use. DANGER – Place the unit in environments where there is no risk of explosion, corrosion or fire.

    JONIX CLIMATE 4 - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ATTENTION The safety instructions below should be read carefully after understanding the operation of the unit, and before proceeding with its installation, commissioning and/or maintenance. Electrical equipment must be installed, used, and maintained by qualified personnel.

Regularly check that the fire extinguishers are charged and their operating instructions are clearly understood. It is required to be aware of where the first aid box is kept.

The use of accessories, tools, consumables or spare parts other than those recommended by the MANUFACTURER and/or specified in this manual may be a hazard to operators and/or damage the unit.

    JONIX CLIMATE 8.4 CONTROL AND SAFETY DEVICES All control equipment is calibrated and tested at the factory before shipping the machine. However, after the unit has been operating for a reasonable period of time, it is advisable to check the operating and safety devices.

To check its operation, shut the air flow in the condensers the with the compressors running, and check on the compressor delivery pressure gauge (previously installed) that the pressure switch (compressor stop) is activated when the calibration value is reached.

    JONIX CLIMATE 9 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS 9.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION ATTENTION The electrical connections must be carried out by qualified personnel. WARNING All connections must comply with the regulations imposed in the country of installation. Upstream of the unit’s power supply, an adequate sectioning unit must be provided, located near the unit, considering the electrical absorption indicated in the wiring diagram supplied with the unit and on the data plate.

    JONIX CLIMATE 10 - START-UP 10.1 PRELIMINARY CHECKS – Check that all the valves in the cooling circuit are open. – Check that the electrical connections have been made properly and that all the terminals are securely tightened. – This check should also be included in a periodic sixmonth inspection.
