    Remove the carafe from its cardboard packaging. Carefully lift the coffeemaker from the remaining inserts. Remove the plastic bag from the coffeemaker. We suggest you save all packing materials in the event that future shipping of the machine is needed. Keep all plastic bags away from children.

    8. The Brew-Through lid allows coffee to drip from coffeemaker through closed lid. When coffee has completely stopped dripping into thermal carafe and water level indicator is empty, brew cycle is complete.

    PRECAUTIONS 1. Do not place a cloth or otherwise restrict airflow beneath coffeemaker. 2. To avoid accidents, make sure thermal carafe lid is in “CLOSED” position during brewing and while pouring; do not pour in the direction of people.
