Function:
@ AUX ON/OFF

Switching Power On
Radio
Press button [2] to switch the tuner power
on. Press button [2] again to switch the
power off.
Tape
Insert the cassette tape through the cas-
sette door [4], and the power will be auto-
matically turned on to get the tape start
being played back. To eject the tape, press
the button [3].
Changing the Source
When an optional muiti-play CD player is
connected to your unit, the source changes
in the order listed below each time you
press button (2): Tuner — Multi-piay CD
player —- OFF.
* You cannot change the source while a
cassette is being played. To change the
source, press button [3] to eject the cas-
sette, then press the source button.
lf another audio equipment is connected to
the IP-BUS terminal with an optional con-
version cord, set the AUX to ON by doing
as follows:
Hold down button @ in [11] and set the ig-
nition switch from OFF to ON.
In this case, the source changes as follows:
Tuner — (Multi-play CD player) — AUX —
OFF
Mode Selection
Each press of button [13] changes the mode
as follows:
Volume adjustment (VOL) — Balance ad-
justment (FAD/BAL) ~ Tone adiustrnent
(BAS/TRE) — Loudness select ({OU D)
° When you're adjusting fader, balance,
bass, treble settings, the indiatos will
Stop at the center setting.
¢ Balance adjustment, tone adjistrnent,
and or loudness select mode will be can-
celed after about 8 seconds.
Volume Adjustment
Pressing the (+) side of button [1] iracreases
the volume, while the (-) side cicreeases it.
(Display shows "VOL. 00" ~ "VOL. 30%.)
° When driving your vehicle, bi sure to
keep the volume of the unit st low
enough to allow you to hear soursds com-
ing from outside.
Balance Adjustment
Press button [13] to select balawe adjust-
ment mode.
("FAD" appears on the display-/Ad
just the
fader using the (+) or (-) side ofpurfon [1].
To adjust the balance, press eitier rhe (4)
or (P) side of button [1] to turnin "BAL"
and use the (<4) or (>) side of tle b astton.
