WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTMENT

Plug in TV receiver and turn it ON.
. Operate the TV receiver.over 15 minutes.
Fully degauss the TV receiver by using an external
degaussing coil.
Receive a crosshatch pattern and adjust the static
convergence control roughly. :
Loosen the clamp screw of the deflection yoke and
pull the deflection yoke toward you. —
. Fully turn the red and blue low light controls (R357,
R359) counterclockwise and set the green low light
control (R358) to it's mid position.
Adjust the purity magnets so that green field is
(Fig. 11)
Slowly push the deflection yoke toward bell of CRT
obtained at the centre of the screen.
and set it where a uniform green field is obtained.
Tighten the clamp screw of the deflection yoke.
(See Fig. 3)
Receive a black and white picture signal.
Set controls as follows:

. Slowly turn the screen control clockwise to the point
where one of the three beams just illuminates.
. Set the low light control of the colour which. appeared
at the step 3 as it is, and turn the remained to low
light 'controls. toward clockwise, from- the setting
position at the setp 3, so as to get a white horizontal
line on the picture tube.
. Reset the service switch to NORMAL position: -
. Adjust drive controls (R369, R371) to obtain a uniform
white raster.

WEISSBALANCE-ABGLEICH

Das Fernsehgerat gegen Norden oder Suden gerichtet
aufstellen. ,
Das Fernsehgerat ans Netz anschlief&en und einschalten.
Das Fernsehgerat mehr als 15 Minuten eingeschaltet
lassen. an
Das Fernsehgerat mit separater Entmagnetisier ungspule
vollstandig entmagnetisieren.
Schachbrettmuster empfangen und Statik- Konvergenz-
Regler grob einstellen.
Die Klemmschraube des Ablenkjochs Idsen und das
~ Ablenkjoch gegen sich ziehen.
Die Tiefenregler fiir Rot und Blau (R357, R359) auf
Linksanschlag drehen, und den Tiefenregler fur Grin
(R358) auf Mitte einstellen.
Die Reinheitsmagnete so einstellen, dalg im Zentrum
des Bildes ein griines Feld erscheint. (Abb..11) <
. Das Ablenkungsjoch langsam in Richtung Bildschirm
schieben und feststellen, wenn der ganze Bildschirm
einheitlich grun ist.
Die Klemmschraube des Ablenkjochs anziehen:

. Den Schirmgitterregier langsam im Uhrzeigersinn drehen,
bis gerade einer der drei Striche sichtbar wird.
. Den Tiefenregler der Farbe, die in Schritt.3 sichtbar
wurde, in seiner Stellung belassen, und die beiden
anderen im Uhrzeigersinn von der Einstellung in Schritt
3:drehen, so dafé auf dem Bildschirm ein weifser
"horizontaler Strich erscheint.
. Den Service-Schalter auf ''Normal"
. Mit den Drive-Reglern (R369, R371) ein gleichmakig
zuruckstellen.
