Using Track Search/Fast Forward
and Reverse
Each time you press button [8], the mode
switches between Track Search mode and
Manual Search mode.
Track Search
1.Select Track Search mode.
2.Press the (>) side of button [5] to in-
crease the number at Position [12], or the
(+4) side to decrease the number. Holding
either side of button [5] down changes
the number at high speed.
Fast Forward and Reverse
1.Select Manual Search mode.
2.Press the (>) side of button [5] to fast-
forward, press the (4) side to reverse.
Disc Number Search
Press the (A) side of button [4] to increase
the number at Position [11], or the (¥) side
to decrease the number. Empty trays in the
magazine will be skipped during selection.

Using Disc Repeat/Music Repeat
and Random Play
Each Press of button [2] causes the mode
to change as follows:
Music Repeat ("RPT" [15] appears) >
Random Play ("RDM" [14] appears) —
Normal
If button [2] is pressed for 2 or more sec-
onds, the mode changes to Disc Repeat
("D.RPT" [15] appears).
* When Disc Repeat or Music Repeat are
not operational, the compact discs con-
tained in the magazine will play sequen-
tially from beginning to end, and then
start from disc 1 again.
Music Repeat
1. To repeat the music you are listening to,
select the repeat mode ("RPT" [15] ap-
pears).
2. To cancel music repeat, press button [2]
to turn off "RPT" [15].
ae Play
. To play music randomly, select the ran-
dom play mode ("RDM" [14] appears).
Once the current track has been played,
the microprocessor will randomly select
the next and subsequent tracks.
2. To cancel random play, press button [2]
to turn off "RDM" [14].
* Since selections are played in random
order, the same selection may be played
twice in succession.
Disc Repeat
The Disc Repeat function causes the same
ale to play repeately.
1 . Press button [2] for 2 seconds or more
while the desired disc is being played.
The mode will change to Disc Repeat
mode ("D.RPT" [15] appears).
2. To cance! Disc Repeat, again, press but-
ton [2] for 2 seconds or more and turn
off "D.RPT" at [15].
Pausing
1. Press button [3] to pause during discs
playback. ("PAUSE" [16] appears.)
2. Press button [3] again to release pause.
* You can pause even during music re-
peat/random play/disc repeat/program
play.
