    Safety Precautions Do not Plug and unplug the power cord, it may result in product malfunction. Do not install the product in an environment where there is high humidity. Do not use this product in wet weather. Do not install this DVR directly into a vehicle cigarette lighter socket. Do not drop the product or subject it to physical shock.

    Features The DVR supports NTSC or PAL video system. The DVR uses MPEG4 and supports one channel video and one channel audio recording and playback operation. Allows deletion of current file in playback mode. Audio/Video data is recorded directly on the SD or SDHC card up to 16Gb. DVR uses a simple playback method to a PC using proprietary software or Windows Media Player and DivX codec.

    Basic Configuration Connect DVR Video Out to composite video monitor using BNC cable. Connect DVR Audio Out to audio amplifier or monitor amplifier using BNC cable (optional). Connect camera to Video In using BNC connection and power camera. Connect microphone to Audio In using BNC connection and power Microphone.

    Motion Detection Area Setting Press the down arrow key to highlight the Area Setting. Everything within the red box will be in the motion detect area. Pressing the arrow keys will set the area. Press delete key to move area to position required.

    Schedule Setting Select Schedule Setting and press OK. You may select up to 4 time slot groups to allow start/stop recordings automatically. Each of the four groups are selected using arrow keys and then press OK to select highlighted group. You can select a Once Only selection or Weekly selection and can set the record time from and to.

    Time Stamp Select to set the Time Stamp option. This will display the time stamp on recorded files. It is recommended to set this on. Recording Type Select to set Recording Type. You have two options. One is Video mode and the other is STILL frame mode.

    If there is movement within the red box area and the sensitivity setting is adequate recording will start and the motion detect displays in red. Running Manual Record To set manual recording just press the REC button. To stop recording just press the REC button again.

    Playback Enter the menu. You will need to switch off recording to enter the menu by pressing the REC key. Select to enter the Playback menu. The Playback menu will display pages of date files. Select date with up or down arrow key and press the OK button.
