BRIEF OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Switch
on
the terminal.
The mains switch
is
located
on
the front of the terminal
unit, at
the bottom
right, and
shows 'O' when the terminal
is
switched
off.
2.
lf any parameter changes are to be
made,
first
press
the
[SET-UP] key
to obtain the Set-up
A
display.
3.
lf required, press 4 to switch the terminal
to
On-line, Block or Local. The present
state
is
shown
in
the Set-up Mode
as
well
as
by
the
LED
labelled 'On-line', which will
be lit if
the terminal
is
On-line or
in
Block
Mode.
4.
Adjust the display brightness with the [CURSOR
UP}
and [CURSOR DOWN]
keys.
5.
To
enter Set-up
B
or
C
Modes, press
the
5
key once or
twice respectively.
6.
To
exit any Set-up Mode press
[SET-UP] again.
"TWIST CAPAB|L|TY
The
"twist capability
of the 'TWlST' terminal, enables the operator to use
either
a
Landscape or Portraitscreen display format. The
portrait display shows the complete contents
(1
big-page or 3 flip-pages) while the landscape display shows
a
'magnified' 24-line
portion of the complete contents
(1/3
of
a
big-page or
1
flip-page). Refer
