Solo-S Ultra-Pure Water System Operation Introduction The Avidity Science Solo S, Ultra-Pure Water System produces Type I water from a potable water supply and utilizes either Mercury or LED single-wave length ultraviolet sanitising technology. The Mercury ultraviolet option is used with total organic carbon (TOC) monitoring.

One Pretreatment Cartridge (AvProtect01) • Two Deionization Cartridges (AvUltra01) If any parts are damaged, contact Avidity Science Technical Support. See Contacting Technical Support on page v. Fittings All fittings are plugged for shipping purposes. A plug must be inserted into any fitting that is not used.

You will need Mercury UV Lamp (AvUV01), 7125-8000-002. WARNING! Mercury Exposure. Handle the Mercury UV lamp with care. If lamp is broken, mercury fumes are released and disperse rapidly when the room is ventilated.

Connect the applicable filter. Power Connections The Solo S is powered by 24 VDC and connects to the connector near the top on the back of the unit.

Install Water Treatment Cartridges When starting the Solo S for the first time, the system requests confirmation that the cartridges are installed and locked before enabling operation. The Solo S system uses NFC (Near Field Communication) requiring cartridges to be scanned on the front of the unit before installation.

Wash your hands immediately after cartridges are installed. Contact with the small particles contained in the cartridge can result in eye irritation and may cause a slipping hazard if they are released from the cartridge.
