Manual FSD-5001 1. Preamble The FSD-5001 has been developed and manufactured with the highest care and attention. However, improper handling can cause a risk for safety and / or damage. Read these instructions carefully before handling and installing the product so that you can safely enjoy your device.

5. Description of the product 5.1 Intended use The FSD-5001 is a floor stand for professional displays. It is designed and intended to be positioned on the floor. Displays can be mounted with the suitable adapter plate to the mounting head. The mounting head can be adjusted in its height. Optional accessories can be attached to the stand.
Manual FSD-5001 6.2 Assembling the FSD-5001 Stand Do not place the FSD-5001 stand on top of unstable or sloped surfaces. Do not use the FSD-5001 Stand outdoors. Make sure not to clamp your fingers, hands or feet during setup process. Wear appropriate protection equipment (safety shoes, safety gloves).

Manual FSD-5001 Note that both parts need to be twisted to each other. Figure 5 shows the twist of approx. 11 degrees between the column and the ground plate. Figure 5 Correct positioning of column when not locked Step 3: Gently twist the lower column so that the mechanism locks. As you can see in Figure 7, the lower plate of the column fits in its orientation to the plate on top of the ground plate.

Manual FSD-5001 Figure 7 Twist to lock from bottom view Furthermore, the locking pin on the backside must be in its locked position. This means the pin is inserted and you can no longer see the red marking. See Figure 8 which shows the locking pin when it is unlocked.

Manual FSD-5001 Step 5: If not already preinstalled, position the mounting head over the top column and let it slide into the corresponding nut channels of the column. See Figure 13. Figure 13 Mounting head Secure the mounting head at the desired height by tightening all four clamping levers on the backside of the mounting head.

Also make sure that all four clamping levers are securely fastened. Step 6: Finally, use the tension knob at the bottom part of the lower column to reduce the play between the columns and the ground plate, by tightening it by hand clockwise.
Manual FSD-5001 Figure 15 Tensioning knob 6.2 Installing the display Make sure that only suitable displays are mounted to this stand! Do not try to use it with unsuitable displays because serious accidents can occur! Install a suitable mounting bracket to the display. The mounting bracket can either have 3 Pins or 5 Pins to connect to the stand.

Manual FSD-5001 First the 3 or 5 pins of the adapter bracket need to be in the correct position of the mounting head where the key holes have a wider opening. After that the display with the adatper bracket can be moved downwards so that the pins slide into the more narrow part of the key holes.

Manual FSD-5001 Once the display is in the designated position, secure the connection by locking the unhinge safety mechanism. Figure 20 Unhinge mechanism, left side unlocked, right side locked If necessary, you can use the knob (see on top of the mounting head to adjust the horizontal tilting of the display.

System maintenance and inspection (Re-examination) The FSD-5001 does not require special maintenance but a visual inspection must be done prior to every installation in which the system is involved. The inspection must be done by a qualified person! If one notices any sort of damage, stop using the product and contact the manufacturer.
Manual FSD-5001 8. Disposal of components 8.1 Metal parts and packaging All metal parts and packaging can be recycled. 8.2 Disposal of entire devices You have the possibility to send old devices back to us. Please note that you have to take over the transportation costs for this.
