- Page 9 Ionic Technology Your straightener features ionic technology which produces a flow of negative ions which may help to enhance and condition your hair, neutralising natural positive ions, which create electrostatic electricity (which causes frizz). The ionic feature may help to rejuvenate your hair leaving it soft and shiny.
