    Safety Safety This operating manual is intended for persons who are authorised and quali- fied to set up and operate the control for a sauna cabin. The following safety instructions should be observed during setup and ope- ration. Failure to observe the safety instructions could result in death or se- rious injury.

    Safety Commissioning This manual assumes that the installation of the control has been completed in accordance with the appropriate installation instructions and the installa- tion has been inspected and accepted by an authorised technician. Risk to life and limb Improper installation may leave live parts exposed. There is a risk to from electric shock life and limb from electric shock due to contact with electrically live parts.

    Identification Identification The controls in the FNT series are available as Wall-Touch and Design-Touch models. Overview Wall-Touch In the Wall-Touch model the touch display is integrated into the control unit. The control unit is surface-mounted. Design-Touch In the Design-Touch model the control unit and the touch display can be installed separately.

    Operation Starting the unit WARNING Fire hazard from overheating Objects placed on the oven could catch fire.  Ensure that there is nothing covering the oven.  Ensure that the air is able to circulate freely. WARNING Injuries or damage to health due to excessively high temperature and humidity Items covering the temperature sensor or humidistat may cause an increase in temperature or humidity in the cabin.

    Operation Switching off NOTICE Device damage due to repeatedly switching off the unit improperly If the control unit is repeatedly switched off contrary to the instruc- tions in this operating manual the control unit may be damaged.  Observe the following instructions on how to switch off the con- trol unit.

    Operation Temperature and humidity The desired temperature and humidity in the sauna cabin can be set, depen- ding on the model. With the FNT3400 control unit you can set the desired temperature and a limiter temperature for the infrared bath mode. The oven switches off when the sauna cabin reaches the desired temperature.

    Basic settings menu Basic settings menu eco mode eco mode is only available in the sauna (Finnish) bath mode. In eco mode the heating period is automatically set to 15 minutes once the desired tem- perature is reached. The oven also switches off automatically 3 minutes before the end of the heating period in eco mode.
