  • Page 6: Safety Notice

SAFETY NOTICE A pool is a fun and happy place, but it can also be a risky place, especially for small children or anyone who cannot swim. In order to avoid accidents, basic safety precautions should be applied. As the owner, you have the most important role in reminding users of the "pool" safety rules. 1.

  • Page 8: Choosing The Pool Location

CHOOSING THE POOL LOCATION The following 10 criteria should be considered before choosing the final location: The Ground The ground on which the pool is placed must be firm, stable, level, smooth and horizontal. It is essential that the ground is flat (no holes or bumps), otherwise the pool will be subjected to stresses that can damage it. Very important: beware of water infiltration and the water table.
  • Page 9: Ground Preparation

GROUND PREPARATION Your pool can be installed in two ways: above-ground or half-in-ground. The ground on which the pool rests must be flat, firm, stable, smooth and horizontal. It is essential that the ground is flat (no holes or bumps), otherwise the pool will be subjected to stresses, which can be manifested by a deformation of the pool in its shape, dimension, aspect and consequently can damage it.
  • Page 10 Unless you can use a spirit level, use a straight board. Find the lowest point of the surface to be prepared and level the ground at this point. Dig the higher areas by removing the soil and do not fill in the lower areas.
  • Page 11: Half-In-Ground Installation

PREPARATION FOR A HALF-IN-GROUND INSTALLATION Any half-in-ground pool is considered property and is therefore subject to property tax. All pools excluding removable pools (above-ground, flexible, inflatable) are subject to property tax. Pools whose installation only requires the digging of a hole (no masonry) are not taxable. Article 14 of the General Tax Code requires that this construction be declared within 90 days after completion of the work.

Keep the box. Warning: never install your pool when it is windy. Either you position the pool (not unfolded) at the left end of the prepared surface and to the right of the axis of symmetry.

FILTER CONNECTION For the assembly of the sand filtration unit, please refer to the manual supplied with it. LANDFILL FOR A HALF-IN-GROUND POOL Reminder: The filling of the parts left free between the pool and the ground is carried out after the pool has been filled with water and the filtration unit has been fully installed. Please note: our filtering units include pipes that must be laid on the ground.
  • Page 26: Ladder Assembly

LADDER ASSEMBLY Refer to the ladder instructions for assembly. Only install the ladder when the pool is fully installed and filled with water. Avoid the ladder touching the pool (rubbing can damage the pool fabric). For half-in-ground pools the ladder must be adjusted on site (by partially burying it) according to the desired height.
  • Page 27: Instructions For Use And Maintenance

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE Before any treatment, we remind you that the pool must be filled with water from the mains supply (no rain or spring water, ...). This is a brief summary on chlorine based water treatment, contact a water treatment specialist for advice.
  • Page 28 3. ESSENTIAL PRODUCTS Water acidity (pH: hydrogen potential) For effective water treatment, the acidity (pH) must be between 7.2 and 7.6. Always check and adjust the pH of the water before any operation. To do this, use a product control kit (pH- to decrease and pH+ to increase the pH).
  • Page 29 If the water in your pool is perfectly clear, with no chlorine odour, you must still provide a maintenance treatment with slow chlorine and an anti-algae treatment (the chlorine level must be between 1 and 2 PPM and the pH between 7.2 and 7.6). Summer cover (bubble cover) optional.
  • Page 30 1. Colour fastness The more or less rapid variations in colours are linked to the use of sterilising products (oxidants). This phenomenon is normal. They vary according to the concentration of these products and pool use. Local discolouration on accessories (skimmer, discharge nozzles, etc.) may be observed. These are due to an excessive concentration of water treatment products.
  • Page 31 SPECIFIC MAINTENANCE 1. AIR PRESSURE CONTROL The design of the pool is such that, more or less gradually, the water level in the pool goes down, the central part of the pool sags and the edges rise. It is then necessary to inflate the air tube. In a new pool this operation must be conducted every 2 or 3 months (depending on use and climatic conditions), it is completed when air bubbles escape from the orifices.
  • Page 32 POOL WINTERING This type of pool should be left water-filled; it is not affected by frost. Never leave the pool with no water (empty). Will void the warranty. 1. Remove about 5cm of water from the tubes so that the check valve(s) do not freeze. To do so, unscrew the purge plug and then inflate the tube with air.
