once I have set up my alerts on all 3 sensos, I cannot stop the display from flashing unless I press the Alert once more which I assume deactivates the alarm since the icon disappears...and I do not want the alarm off. How can I set up the alarms, stop the flashing, and still keep alrms activated?

The Unni UN0582 may be beeping and flashing due to a temperature alarm. If the wireless sensor detects a temperature between 33.8°F and 30.2°F, a snowflake symbol will flash to indicate a risk of frost. If the temperature stays below 30.2°F for a longer time, the snowflake symbol will remain constantly displayed.

When the main screen of the Unni UN0582 beeps and the outdoor indicator blinks, it likely indicates wireless interference or a lost connection with the outdoor sensor. This can be resolved by re-pairing the sensor and base unit using the recommended steps.

I have 0582CS. Placing the master unit and remotes: 1,2,3 together, placed at the corners of a placemat on a table, IN the house. 1,2&3 all read 72.x and the master reads 77. Is there a way to calibrate the units?

To ensure accurate temperature readings for the Unni UN0582, follow these steps:
1. Placement: Keep the device out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources or vents. 2. Stabilization: If comparing with other thermometers, place them in the same location and allow them to stand for one hour before taking readings. 3. Battery Check: Ensure the batteries are properly installed and have sufficient charge. 4. Reset and Pairing: If readings seem inaccurate, remove and reinsert the batteries in both the sensor and base unit, then pair them again by keeping them close together for about 20 minutes.
Following these steps will help achieve accurate temperature measurements.

The UN0582 sensor may still register on the base unit without batteries because the base unit retains the last received signal from the sensor for a period of time. If the sensor was previously connected and transmitting data, the base unit may continue displaying the last recorded values until it updates or loses the connection. Additionally, if the sensor was recently powered off, the base unit may take some time to recognize the loss of signal.

To remove the snow alert on the unni UN0582, you need the temperature measured by the wireless sensor to rise above 33.8°F (1°C). The snowflake symbol flashes when the temperature is between 33.8°F and 30.2°F, and stays on constantly if it stays below 30.2°F. Once the temperature stays above 33.8°F, the snowflake symbol will disappear.
